Hi there!
I grew up in central Wisconsin, a small town named Stratford. I also graduated from Stratford High School. While in high school I was an active student on the varsity volleyball and softball teams, National Honor Society, and class president. Academics have always been important to me, and I was able to graduate with a 4.0 GPA and be the valedictorian of my class.
I am currently in my second year at Minnesota State University- Mankato with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025. I am majoring in Special Education with hopes to go on to pursue a master's degree in School Psychology. I have kept much of the same values in college; I value my academic success, am involved in honors and the Council for Exceptional Children student club, and work in the Mankato school district. I have been fortunate to be able to work as a paraprofessional in two different school districts and gain experience for my future career. I hope that through my career in special education I can empower both students and faculty to help them succeed!
I love traveling- Montana has been a frequent travel spot for me, I have been very lucky and spent a large amount of time there! I also enjoy hiking, skiing, spending time with friends and family (I have a total of 8 nieces and nephews!), watching the sunset, knitting, and supporting a local coffee shop. I enjoy keeping busy and am always looking for the next adventure!
